This is the last public post I make.

The reasons for flocking are many and have been discussed before ad nauseum, let us just say I like being employed, but I also like being able to update friends on certain things in my life.

(and not having to edit away personal details for fear of stalkers etc is such a huge luxury)

Apparently the rumours of my impending engangement to the xanthspod was based entirely on how he asked offensive_mango for her updated address, which clearly could only mean we were sending out invites.

Clearly.

In these days where "he was gay at me so I had to kill him" is still a valid defence in a court of law (see todays excellent post by troubleinchina)

It strikes me how afraid a certain proportion of society is of Gay in general.
To paraphrase Hank von Helvete: "We were wondering what we could do to be hardcore, and nobody was afraid of the fluffy satanists anymore, so we decided to wear tight denim and pink lipstick. It is the only thing that scares the metalkids."



Satanism/nazism/cannibalsm/S&M is done to death, gay is the new taboo to break?



"Man against man" is also a theme in this song by Kaizers about a mans visit to the brothel.



So what is the issue?
This is all good yeah, more gay into the mainsteam?
That may possibly be true, but why on earth is gay now more scary to the average metalfan than cannibalism, nazis, and the devil combined?

This is where we insert some ponderings about feminization, and why on earth being REDUCED TO A WOMAN IN THE EYES OF OTHER MEN is something so bad it warrants gaybashing.

I have started doing my statistics homework. Take-home exam.
it is all made of poo.

New thing on list of stuff which has made me oddly faint:

Turning lights off after having been to the bathroom.

Yup. Sudden onset of DARK.

I need to update my CV again and send it in to a few agencies and see what I can get over the summer.

I need something more CV-able which provides references.

And a bit more stimulating job will be nice too.
